Bronze coin of Trajan, samian. Found in garden of (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (now moved).
At Latinford, in the garden of (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), Rom pottery, including decorated samian, has been found as well as a mint coin of Crispus and some bronze rings (S1). Basil Brown visited this site in September 1946 when (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) was excavating in his garden. Finds included a mint coin of Crispus and a wall footing at a depth of 1 foot 9 inches, some bronze rings and much black earth (S1).
