Full Description

Human skull found in road widening at a depth of 4 feet nearly opposite All Saints Church. Basil Brown thought it probably Medieval and was apparently from a whole skeleton and, when given it by the finder, he presented it to Moyses Hall Museum.
Although Basil gives a grid reference of TL 919 725 his sketch map on index card places it at a slightly different reference (S1).
