(TM 066671) Moat (NR) (S1)
The angular pond to the S of Elm Grove Farm (modern) does not form part of a moat. It was dug, according to the owner, probably as a drainage pond or clay pit and is unconnected to other ponds to the N of the house. No trace of further ditches to form a possible moat were found on the west side of the house.
