Full Description
Moat. Occupied, part gone, possibly quite large originally, on NW edge of Little Green. Parts of 3 sides to N in sub-square form above 2 listed buildings (Manor House, Gd II* and Barn and Outbuildings, Gd II) which may have been within moat. Further to the SW, across an existing trackway (Northlands Lane), is a further large 'L' shaped 'moat' which may also have been part of the original moated complex (S1).
Note further possible moat remains to NW - see GSG 009.
History and early pre OS maps not researched.
