Full Description

Moat - rectangular. Three arms wet (maximum depth 2-4m). Traces of NE arm (0.3m deep). Unoccupied, covered with trees. Isolated, 150m from parish boundary, circa 1,150m from church.Presence of moat supported by nearby field names "Little Moat Field" and "Great Moat Field" which are recorded on the 1839 tithe map of Little Waldingfield. Little Moat Field is numbered 98 on tithe map and in the apportionment, and Great Moat Field is 100 in the same documents.
