Moat. Rectangular, S arm and portions of E and W arms surviving and wet. Has another water trench extending 100m to E and a pond S of its E end. Isolated 600m from parish boundary, 500m to church (S1).
Adjacent manor farm house of C15 C16.
also dovecote suggested by field name `Dovehouse Lay' on Monks Eleigh tithe and apportionment (S2).
