Full Description
Bronze brooch from trench NE of footpath through Meeting Field. Camulodunum type VII. Nauheim type. Nero - Claudian. (Drawing IPSMG card). Sestertius Antoninus Pius, AD 144, RIC 750. Found 1970 (S1).
Two pits - C1 & C2 pottery- found in building operations:-
1. Pit found 1970 - rough cast beaker.
2. Pit found 1969, 10 feet deep - mainly C2 (S3). Two further pits with C1/C2 pottery are listed & planned in (S2).
