Full Description
St Anne's Chapel - site of. In grounds of Kentwell Park. Roger Martin c. 1580-1600 records that `near the pond in the park, where there was a little chappel, 1 think of St Ann' (S1)(S2)(R1).
September 1950: `There are no traces of this chapel to be seen now' (S2). Situated in Pond Plantation. Date of erection unknown. `The will of Sir Wm Clopton 1531 mentions particularly the Vestment and decorations in this private chapel'.
NGR amended from TL 858 484 to TL 8590 4847 after (S2).
