Full Description

Moat. S and W arms, partly dry, occupied. Immediately S of church. Now ploughed out (S2). Shown as field on OS 1978 map (S1).

Remains of a moat at Park Farm consisting of the west and south arms, partly waterfilled and in poor condition.

All that now remains of this moat is a small dry portion of the west arm 5.0m wide, 0.6m deep and 20.0m long, in the garden of No 16 Churchgate. The original island, is under plough and shows a general scatter of undressed stone.
