Full Description
LBA bronze leaf-shaped sword found in "stream bed", 1938. Findspot as marked on A R Edwardson's record map at BSEMH (S4); the stream at this point is a modern straight cut. Findspot otherwise recorded as TL 897 535. Initially recorded by Edwardson as coming from Lawshall (see Lawshall Misc). The sword is 23.6 inches long and has three rivet slots in the handle.
March 2006; returned to owner who unhappy about re-structuring/relocation of museum.
