Summary

A medieval moated site at Ganwick Farm. The site comprises a roughly square island up to 40 metres across, surrounded by a partly waterfilled moat measuring up to 10 metres wide and 1.5 metres deep. A house recorded on the moated island in 1843 no longer survives above ground. A causeway across the eastern corner of the moat was also recorded in 1843. Scheduled.
