Full Description
Black patches, possibly hut sites, pond mud, one large piece of shale, on field near Green Lane. Basil Brown records that an area of black earth lies 400 yards NW of Blake's kiln site - Thelnetham THE 007 - and because of this and other black patches nearby, he suggests hut sites and kiln site are connected. This is site 21 on Basil Brown's OS map (S1).
