Moat. Small, square, occupied, isolated. On parish boundary with Hawkedon (S1).

A moat, irregular both in plan and width, is at Moat Farm Fenstead End.
The remains of a sub-rectangular waterfilled moat surround the site of Moat Farm. The house has been destroyed, but farm buildings and an "out-house" remain within the enclosure. The arms average 6.0m wide except for the SE angle which has been converted into a farm pond; causeways cross the north and south arms.
