Moat. Unoccupied. Irregular shape (S1)(S2).
Large, sub-rectangular pond with small sub-rectangular central. Possibly not a moat.
Formerly (incorrectly?) recorded as site of Cockfield Hall. For Cockfield Hall see COK 025.
Moat may be C19 pond - in 1844 recorded as `Stewpond' (R1). Believed that clay extracted for manufacture of bricks in late C19 (S3).
