Full Description
Small, complete Rom black pot found (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Basil Brown interviewed the finder (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) in 1935 and was given a description of the find spot. He gives sketch maps and drawings of the pot in the archive confirming one of the find spots marked on his OS map (S1).
The site had been plotted previously on (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) which was the second find spot marked on Basil's OS map but his sketch maps definitely locate the find at the other end of (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s).
