Full Description
Part/s of former moat around Newton Hall (LB). Occupied, isolated, close to parish boundary, part gone (two arms left).
Moat may have extended north and further east to include range of (farm?) buildings.
History and early cartography not checked.
Digitally (re) mapped (loosely) when noticed missing from digital HER map layer (August 2006).
