Full Description

(TL 62616458) Human Remains, Flint Implements, Horn Pick, Roman Pottery & Coins found since 1898 (NAT) (S1)

These objects have been found at various times since AD 1898 in different parts of the gravel pit situated northwest of Hamilton Stud Farm. The coins are bronze and silver and the flint implements are in the possession of [Local] Authorities. (S2)

The OS published siting falls within a disused and overgrown quarry. (S3)
