Full Description

(TL 71466225 and TL 71455230). Two ring ditches, 28.0 and 24.0m in diameter, visible on OS air photograph. (S1)

The marks are in a low situation on a north facing slope within 160.0m of the River Kennett. The field was freshly ploughed when visited but nothing of interest was to be seen on its clay and flint surface. It is doubtful that the marks are of barrows. Plotted at 1:2500 from OS air photographs. (S2)

The three Bronze Age ring ditches (two of which are described by the previous authority) can be seen on HE Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken on 1st August 2013.(S3)
