Full Description

Ring ditch (single), on edge of ploughed field, to S of old A45 road. Ditch.
Excavated 1973: diameter (inside) 24.3m; width 3.3m (E), 4.2m (W); depth 1.25m (E), 1.35m (W).
Grave 1 - aligned N-S; 1.55m long x 0.7m wide; empty (acid sub-soil - gravel).
Grave 2 - aligned NW-SE; 1m long x 0.55m wide; empty.
Destroyed by quarrying in 1973.
