Full Description

TL 73176818 Ring ditch 30.0m diameter visible on OS air photograph. (S1)

The site lies on a gentle north slope on the edge of high ground in an area of sandy chalk loam. No features were seen on the ground and no finds made in the area. Possibly a barrow. (S2)

Unclear on 1986 colour vertical - area of periglacial soil activity makes distinguishing ring ditches hazardous (S4).
