Full Description

Dagger, pseudo-anthropoid handle type (early La Tene?) from "Hertford Warren, believed to be near Bury St Edmunds" (S1)(S2). Location of He(a)rtford Warren unknown.
Complete and exceptionally good condition, with fine bronze sheath, on display in Saffron Walden Museum in 2006, where labelled as from "Hartford Warren, near Bury St Edmunds".
November 2006: catalogue details requested from museum.
