Full Description

North Green. Shown on J Hodskinson's map 1783 as 'Northward Green' (S1). Enclosed by an Act of 1846 and then comprised 77 acres, named as 'Norwood Green' (S2). The green is also visible on the first edition Ordnance Survey map dated to c.1880 (S3).
