Full Description
Silverley's Green. Site of a former green visible on Hodskinson's map of 1783 (S1). Enclosed by an Act of 1849, then named as 'Silverlace Green' (S2). The green is also visible on the first edition Ordnance Survey map dated to c.1880 (S3). Now largely built over although the area is known as Silverley's Green.
