Full Description
One French C14, one German C17 jetton found Moreton Hall by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Details BSEMH. German jetton. Obv: Lucretia standing central, with a sword LVCRETIA LVX ROMANA I K 1601, Rev: Judith holding a sword, left, helping Maid, right put head of Holofernes into a sack IUDITH H K. Diameter 2.9cm. French Jetton. Moor's head type. Obv: Head of Moor with turban facing right AVE MARIA GRACIA MIHI, Rev: Four interlocking fleur-de-lys, with a fifth in centre AVE MARIA GRACIA. Diameter 2.2cm (S1).
