Full Description

Bronze buckle decorated; seals, buckle. C13 onwards. Moreton Hall area. Lead seal, eight pointed star motif, has mirror image inscription which may read S RADVDI IPALFREI, reverse has fleur-de-lys or trefoil motifs. Diameter 3.1cm. Bronze buckle length 8.6cm. Bronze buckle with carved decoration of seated figurine with attendant figure on either side holding (?lamps) aloft. Size 2.5cm x 2.0cm. Found with metal detector (S1).
