Full Description

Timworth Road, W side, 200 yds S of church. Possible tumulus (S1)(R1). Barrow? Diameter 15 feet, height 3 feet - pre 1950 (S2).
1977: Visited by GJM (OS) - "There is no evidence of this barrow on the ground, a level field under plough". Estate manager had no knowledge of mound & nothing significant on Tithe Map of 1840. (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) of Gt Livermere states there was a mound there `many years ago' which she believed was a spoil or muck heap that had become grassed over (S2).
