Full Description

Rom pottery found in 1838 in digging foundations for parsonage. Finds originally in Ixworth Abbey but now lost (R1) (R2) (R3) (R4).
Rom ditch, bones, pottery (including complete grey ware pot) found in Co- operative Society yard in sewer pipeline trench, February 1952. The Co-op yard lies N of the parsonage and Co-op building in Ixworth Street at TL 9318 7041C (S1).
