Full Description
This is not a site but an old pit which was levelled up with spoil taken from PKM 005 during construction of the Ixworth by pass. Much of the soil dumped here came from the minor road which lay between the two areas excavated in 1985. The pit area is now under cultivation and metal detecting has produced Rom material (coins, brooches and a figurine of Priapus etc) (S1).
1989: Further detector finds include nail cleaner, 13 coins & occasional Med/PMed coins (S1)(S2).
