Full Description

1976 and 1979: Fieldwalking by Walsham History Group revealed quantity of Med and C16 to C19 potsherds over area 25 metres square.
In 1577 tenant was widow, Alice Rampely, where two former messuages called 'Mannes' and 'Frostes' merged. 'With barns, stables and other necessary houses' (S1). Not shown on 1817 map (S2).
Situated on N edge of former Cranmer Green, for other Med and PMed sites on or bordering Cranmer Green see WLW 9,16,22-40, 70-72, 80.
