Full Description

Chipped flint axe found on surface of a cultivated field, 1975. Retained by finder A P Rush, Low Grange Farm, Heveningham, Halesworth (S1). NB: The original Ipswich Museum card (followed by PSIA and the OS) gave Heveningham as the parish, whereas the grid reference it gives places it in Badingham (see OS 1:10560, provisional edition, 1958, OS 1:10000, 1983). The IPSMG card was corrected at some time.
