Full Description

Cottage (site of). At the time of the Tithe Apportionment 1839, this was a smallholding belonging to William Adair of Flixton and occupied by George Godbold.
The cottage has been demolished, but the foundations still remain overgrown (1983).
C13-C14 and C18 (some C17) pottery recovered from the corner of the field towards Peartree Farm (on the Tithe Map this corner is shown as belonging to Peartree Farm (MTF 023)(S1).
