Full Description

Possible moated site.
The site now ploughed, is identifiable in the Field Book 1577 (folio 28a2), as being a customary messuage with a yard and croft held by John Jesupp (S1), and may have been moated, at least it had ditches. No Med pottery was found but this could have been masked by PMed occupation.
Also shown on 1817 map as ? moated or ditched (S2).
