Full Description
Indications of moat - fragment only - occupied.
Basil Brown thought it possible site of old Wattisfield Hall (S1,S2,R1).
A waterfilled pond lies to the W of Moat House (name verified), but no moat can be recognised. The house is a conversion from a small farm cottage containing a Tudor chimney, and is unlikely to have been moated. There is no evidence of an earlier house (S3).
