`On Wangford Warren, near Brandon, there stands a Keltic tumulus, which has been rifled by the intensely ignorant tenant, and the relics destroyed as being of "no account".'(S1). Could this be BRD 123?
BA tumuli on Wangford Warren (shown on OS 25" map xii, 7)(S2) TL 76 82 according to (S3).
Nothing shown on SCC Mapinfo copies of 1880s OS map (County1) or 1900s OS map (County2).
30.3.1979 Not located - unknown to forestry workers (S3).
Original 25" map referred to in (S2) needs checking.
