Full Description
Three inhumations with iron coffin nails, excavated by Lethbridge. Roman? Sherds of samian pottery etc., found 100 yards away. Near FRK 010. "Stories of pots of silver coins, of gold bracelets etc., stone coffins"(S1, S2).
Flat ground under crop (S1)
The indicated site is on flat ground and under crop; not perambulated, but the crop level is undisturbed. (S3)
