Full Description
BA beaker sherds found on field, E of Hinderclay Wood, near old water course (River Grundle) by Basil Brown in February 1955. Black patches and worked flints seen nearby (S1).
Also finds from spoil from drainage trench between August & October 1961 included two beaker sherds and a large amount of `EIA' flint-gritted pottery, possibly associated with a timber `raft' (see IA) (S2). Also IA pottery found in 1961.
