Full Description

Mislocation.
Neo axe, 6 inches long, damaged by plough, found on field by R Payne in 1947. Now at Moyses Hall Museum (S1)(SAC 1988).
Brown numbers two entries described under "14" on his map (S1), the one relating to this axe does not appear to have been sited and is also described as being found "on field, Thelnetham" (S1). Now listed under Thelnetham Misc (CP 1988). Cited grid reference relates to Thorpe Street church - see Misc Med.
