Full Description
Ring ditch or small circular enclosure, circa 45m diameter. Adjacent to complex field system, TYN 010 (S1).
A ring ditch is visible as a cropmark of circa 20 metres diameter on aerial photographs, centred on circa TM28323864 within the cropmark complex TYN 010, approximately 150 metres to the south-east of Ham's Cottage, Trimley St Martin parish. This feature could be interpreted as the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow or a round house of Iron Age date. It's location within the probable later prehistoric field and trackway system TYN 010 may support the latter suggestion. Two smaller ring ditchs are visible in the immediate area (see TYN ??? And TYN) (S2, S3)
