Full Description
Black ware urns found circa 1895 containing burnt coin etc, near farmhouse during excavation work. Broken by the workmen but seen by Mr Driver, son of the then occupier. Pieces were collected by a Mr S Walker of Redgrave (S1)(R1),
Basil Brown also notes that the urn in Norwich Museum - gourd shaped, donor R Taylor (44.25) may have come from this site or near - see RGV 004. Ivyhouse Farm in the C19 may have been called Stout Farm.
