Full Description

Ring ditch, circa 15-20m diameter. Within rectilinear ditch system SLY 009 (S1-S5). (NB Originally recorded at NGR TM 22783639).
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as the cropmark of a ring ditch on aerial photographs, centred on TM 22773638 in Shotley parish. The ring ditch encloses an area 21m in diameter. See SLY 006 for the Later Prehistoric and Roman field system located nearby. (S1-S6)
