Full Description
Ring ditch, circa 15-20m diameter. Within linear ditch system SLY 009, SLY 006 (S1-S4)).
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as the cropmark of a ring ditch on aerial photographs, centred on TM 23263644 in a field to the south of Charity Farm in Shotley parish. The ring ditch encloses an area roughly 20m in diameter and possibly represents the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. See SLY 017 and SLY 030 for other ring ditches in the same field. (S1-S4)
