Full Description

Ring ditch circa 25m diameter (S1). Within cropmark area SLY 009, adjacent ring ditches SLY 017 018.
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as the cropmark of a ring ditch on aerial photographs, centred on TM 23303636 in a field to the south of Charity Farm, Shotley. The ring ditch encloses an area 21m in diameter and has a possible entrance to its south-west side. It may represent the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow.
