Full Description

Cambered road S of present main road through Rickinghall, which skirted the marsh near Rickinghall Inferior church. The road runs from cottage E of Brook House across Brook House Meadow and rejoins present road near junction of old course of Swimming Ditch and the ancient road known as Pake Way leading from Allwood Green to Rickinghall and passing near and to the E of Falcon's Hall. Basil Brown thought it was possibly Rom. Can be seen on ploughed field (photograph) and showed quite clearly on air photograph belonging to (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), seen by Basil Brown (S1).
