Full Description

One sherd grey ware, one sherd green glazed French ware, one sherd Castle Hedingham ware, all C13-C14 (dated by Hurst, January 1968) from a box in Ipswich Museum cellar bearing label stating that the pottery came from a moated site at Mendlesham Green. Presumably never registered, no other data (S1).
It is probable that the site is that of Moatyards (MDS 006).
