Full Description

Small polished stone axehead, 8.5cms in length. Cited findspot (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) which is in actual field where found. However no precise findspot can be given as the axehead was found on a mechanical potato harvester by Mr Stanley Taylor (deceased) in autumn 1966 (S4) (S5). Approximate location to centre of field is (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s).
Petrological examination undertaken at Norwich Castle Museum, number S142 Group VII (S4)(S6).
