Full Description
In Great Gates Field, Boundary Farm in 1938, two sites in heavy soil. Mr G Rogers found a good sized patch of calcined flints to a depth of 2 feet, which he thought was a possible kiln site, period unknown. Rom pottery sherds were found at another site on the same field. Indications confirmed by Mr Rogers to Basil Brown in 1950 (S1).
This site may be partly in Rumburgh.
