Full Description
Snake headed bronze bracelet found in 1949. Findspot recorded as TL 7044 7950 on 6 inch map by C W Phillips in 1950 (S1,R1) although clearly marked as TL 7055 7950 by Briscoe (S2). Pottery and a snake headed bronze bracelet are also recorded as from TL 704 796 (S1,S3) but this probably relates to the same find. Within MNL 171 area of Roman scatter.
Find spot TL 704 795 ("in the Delph") recorded for Roman pottery, building materials, oyster shells etc and the double snake headed bracelet although association not stated (S4). Probably also recorded in Briscoe diaries (S5).
