Full Description
Black pottery, believed to be Rom, found in ditch near The Swan, circa 1935. Correct grid reference is TM 1363 7707 as shown on Basil Brown's 6 inch OS map, this is definitely in Stuston, not Brome. He advised OS in 1949 of find, OS card gives TM 138 773 as approximate location and he gave further details in 1955. Pottery is now lost (S1)(S2).
