Full Description
Portion of Rom face urn found near river on meadow in Ubbeston belonging to Hill Farm, Heveningham. This is now lost after being taken to the farm by Mr O Etheridge and may possibly have been Med but had been seen by Miss Raven of Fressingfield, who thought it was Rom. Reported by Basil Brown, who visited site and took photographs in June 1950 (S1).
He comments that there are many large stones at this site near the 30m contour line that probably denote an ancient track on the S side of the river. Med horsehoes also found in this meadow.
This site mislocated under Heveningham HEV Misc Rom.
Formerly recorded as UBB MISC
