Summary
1968-1986: Fieldwalking by Colin Pendleton located scatter of worked flint etc, mainly Neolithic & Bronze Age in date but including Mesolithic types, usually differentiated from later flintwork by patination.

Full Description
1968-1986: Fieldwalking by Colin Pendleton located scatter of worked flint etc, mainly Neolithic & Bronze Age in date but including Mesolithic types, usually differentiated from later flintwork by patination. also found a broken backed microlith,(S1).
1982-1986: Excavation of Neolithic & Bronze Age site located a number of residual microliths and Mesolithic worked flint on sand ridges. Parts of shaft-hole implements were also found but are probably Bronze Age in date (S2-S6). Details in excavation archive.
